Holy Hour

Holy Hour is a prayer service held at a nearby church in support of the Keryx retreat taking place in the prison.

We meet at Holy Spirit Church in North Collins for the Holy Hour service and then carpool to the prison together to sing to the men through the fence.

Wednesday, October 23 beginning at 7:00 pm.

 

Note: children may attend the Holy Hour at the church, but no one under 14 is permitted at the serenade at the prison fence.

Keryx 4 Holy Hour October 23

The Holy Hour prayer service will be on Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 pm at Holy Spirit Church in North Collins. Following the service, attendees will carpool to the prison (the truck entrance at the back of Collins Side 1) where they will be given candles and song sheets. The retreat participants will be brought out to just inside the fence where they can see and hear members of the Christian community showing their love. Following the serenade, we return to the church for a meal and to greet the inside volunteers as they return.
